PDIA for Education Systems online action learning program for Education Development Trust, funded by United Kingdom’s Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Teams from Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia participated

PDIA for Education Systems

September – December 2022

The team from India focused on:

Problem: Foundational Learning Outcomes are not being met in Punjab

Key Takeaways:

Tools and Frameworks for Thinking Better: The Fishbone diagram, Triple AAA, Crawling the Change Space and the Authorising Environment helped us to think better about the problem and solve for it.

Problem: We learnt to focus on the problem, not jump to the solution. It is crucial to identify and deconstruct the problem, build a common understanding of it and incorporate perspectives of different stakeholders into it.

Teaming: We realised the importance of communication in teams, delegation, building trust, time management, etc.
