Mannat is joining Building State Capability as a Research Fellow. Previously, she worked at the non-profit organization TechnoServe, where she led grassroots initiatives aimed at reducing student absenteeism and promoting menstrual hygiene across 36 villages in India. Later, she joined the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in India, where she spearheaded interagency coordination for planning, monitoring, and reporting results against Sustainable Development Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 4 (Quality Education). Mannat holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Miranda House, University of Delhi. She is a Young India Fellow from Ashoka University and a recent graduate of the Master in Public Policy program from Harvard Kennedy School.
Having utilized the Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approach through her coursework and currently working as a Teaching Assistant for the Implementing Public Policy Executive Education program at Harvard, Mannat looks forward to contributing to solving complex problems in her new role.
