Listen to our second virtual discussion on Leadership Through Crisis

On April 3rd, 2020, we hosted a second virtual discussion with Matt Andrews, who answered audience questions on his new Public Leadership Through Crisis blog series.

Here are some of the questions he answered:

  • What advice do you have for coordinating a cohesive responsive in Developing Countries that may be faced with increased development partner interest in assisting with the COVID-19 response? Any design principles for coordinating domestic and international actors?
  • How important is a charismatic personality to maintain motivation for the snowflake model to be effective, or does shared purpose negate this need?
  • What are your suggestions for resolving conflict and making quick decisions within a leadership group?
  • Our teams on the ground remain concerned about the aftermath of COVID-19 which does not follow a normal disaster curve. How can we rapidly, systematically measure the impact of short-term, crisis interventions on the long-term work undertaken by development partners and the Government?

Thank you to ALL those who attended our second session and for engaging with us. If you missed the session, you can listen to it here. We are now holding these virtual sessions every Friday morning at 9am EST. Follow our blog to get registration information!
